We stayed here overnight on the way home from our western trip this past May. It is just off I-40 exit 108 adjacent to the Cherokee Travel Plaza, where we topped off before checking in.
Our pull-thru site was not super wide, but it was ample enough and it was definitely long enough for us to stay connected to our 40’ fifth wheel. We did not use any of the facilities, but if the condition of the office is any indication, I would say they are clean. When we made the reservations one of the amenities listed was tornado shelter, which we didn’t think much of. As it turned out, it was the most important amenity they could offer- we arrived during a lull between 2 tornado laden storm fronts.
The park was fairly full and had quite a few construction workers there. Despite the proximity of the interstate and the truck plaza it is a very quiet place- when there are no thunder storms that is.
